Assessment is defined as the number of sessions before the starting of the therapeutic programme, in which they are assessed the skills of the child. The purposes of assessment are clearly for development of the IEP ( Individual Eduacation Plan) and not for diagnosis. The duration of assessment depends on the skills of each child.

1. VB-MAPP ( Verbal Behaviour Milestones Assessment and Placement Programme)
2. AFLS ( The Assessment of Functional Living Skills)
3. ABBLS-R ( Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills)
4. Early Start Denver Model for young children with autism (ESDM)
